FD Gourmet Recipe Book: Recipes for the Advanced Fighter Dieter

    (42 recipes)

When I say “Advanced Fighter Dieter” I mean a person who understands the concept (mainly A, B, vs C days) and who has already developed some discipline in maintaining the Fighter Diet lifestyle. Why is this important? Because variety for some people can lead to desire for even more variety; and if you aren’t able to curb those desires, you could fall back into old (bad) eating habits. This book is intended to provide you with some Fighter Diet safe variety, when you are tired of the same old food and FD Pyramid substitutions aren’t enough.

You should also understand what types of foods fall under A, B, and C days because this recipe collection does not categorize for you. It’s more like a traditional cookbook in that you will find one recipe per page with ingredients, directions, and also nutritional information. So, if you are sticking with the true FD plan you’ll need to know which day to insert these recipes into.

Enough warnings though! Pauline’s intro explains more about that anyway. What’s great about this cookbook? Well, I’ve already mentioned variety, but let me explain further:

    • You’ll find recipes here you can insert into a regular FD diet plan in place of plain cooked veggies. 2 examples that stand out are: Lemon Garlic Broccoli and Three Bean Salad.
    • Not sure what to do with your boring “bird” breasts? Try the Balsamic Chicken. Simple, but tasty!
    • Go gourmet with some more elaborate dishes prepared Fighter Diet style such as the Spanish Paella.
    • Vegetarian? You haven’t been left out, as you’ll find main dishes that include Quorn or Seitan.
    • Want some sweet treat or new beverage ideas? They’re in here. (In FD fashion, of course.)

This book is perfect for the FD follower who needs ideas for spicing up the meal plan, but who isn’t a whiz in the kitchen. Nothing in here is overly complicated, but you can add some flavor without falling off track. ( Review by Jazser)

Are you an advanced FD’er but, a not so advanced chef? Pick this up, and give your taste buds a new outlook on the Fighter Diet life!

"I know you usually hear feedback about the workout ebooks (from what I have noticed), but the cookbooks are fantastic! Made one of the omelette recipes recently and there was so much food I couldn't believe it. Tonight, I am making one of the chicken recipes and the amount of food for one serving is unbelievable. The pictures in the ebooks look delicious and the food is easy to make. Made a special trip to the store today to make a variety of the recipes over the next week. My commitment this week to myself is to eat more veggies!" -Diana

"I loved this e-book – it is an amazing addition to the FD collection.  Although I myself could eat pounds of Cabbage and Pink Salmon day in day out, that’s not necessarily the kind of thing you can serve up to dinner guests without them giving you funny looks! (Unfortunately not everyone has the mentality of an FDiator!) There are a variety of different styles of meal included - from breakfast pancakes and omelettes, salads and stir frys to delicious desserts, and even dips! The book has recipes covering A, B and C plan days – so it has you completely covered! There’s even a shopping guide included, advising you where to purchase some of the items included in the recipes. What I love about this e-book recipe collection is that it allows me to prepare healthy, simple, yet extremely delicious meals for myself friends and family that we can all enjoy together – and all whilst still remaining FD compliant. Best thing is, if you’re tired of answering questions about your Fighter Diet lifestyle, you won’t have to – the only thing your friends will be asking is for are the recipes! Buy and enjoy!" -Hayley

"The e-Book “ Fighter Diet , the gourmet style “ is an attractive and creative recipe book for those who enjoy putting a little more finesse in their cooking. Recipes created by Katrina Palana Soledad with clear forward by Pauline Nordin it’s a great addition for those who want to stay on the path of eating lean but want to throw a little spin in their meals.

The recipes are simple to follow and give a nutritional breakdown for each. I have a collection of cook books and very few give information on nutritional value and most of their recipes sound good but have an ingredient list a mile long and prep time that most people wouldn’t want to spend in real life.

I’ve tried some of the recipes and many I haven’t tried yet ( there are a lot) but I’ve been cooking for a long time and can see that many of them you could serve to unsuspecting dinner guests and they would never suspect that it’s “Diet Food”, as they say.

Another added plus is that the food is beautifully arranged and photographed so even if you’re not an artist in the kitchen it gives you some ideas if you do want to impress your friends. I think this book is a great complement to the original recipe book and to “the Fighter Diet Fiber Recipe Collection”.

Highly recommended! Especially for those who think FD eating has to be the same cabbage every night for the rest of their life. Get creative!" -Larry Navarro
