Step 1: First of all, you need to know exactly what Fighter Diet is about. Start by ordering the ebook which explains it all: Fighter Diet – The Concept
Sure, you can get a general idea by browsing the Fighter Diet website, or “liking” the Fighter Diet Facebook page. (And we recommend you do both of these!) But browsing the site only gives you snippets of information. Following Pauline on Facebook or Twitter is a great supplement for information and motivation, but this will only give you the very basics of the concept depending on what Pauline posts that day, or what others ask on the FB site. To make sure you get a complete explanation of what Fighter Diet is and the principles behind it, you must start with the FD Concept book. You should always know exactly what you’re getting into before you spend your hard earned cash on diet plan books, only to find out it’s not really for you. Pauline is the first to say that Fighter Diet is not for everyone, so be smart and start with the concept book.
Step 2: Pick a diet plan, and get that eBook to get you started.
Your choices are:
· FDX (Fighter Diet Extreme),
· FDX2 (Fighter Diet Extreme 2, volume 1 or 2)
· FDX2 Grain Free
· FDX3 (Fighter Diet Extreme 3, volume 1 or 2)
· Muscle Booster – for hardgainers (people who have trouble gaining weight)
How do you know which one you should use? You can get some basic information on each plan via the FD website. To make an even more confident choice, post a brief question with stats and a picture (you can black out your face if you want) on the FD website, and a Dungeonista can advise you. (You could also get this advice by joining the FD Dungeon and posting there, but FaceBook is one way to get started if you don’t want to join the Dungeon.)
Why order the Diet Plan next? Because diet/nutrition is key to building a better body regardless of your specific goals. If you start with the concept book, and this sounds like a “nutritional lifestyle” that you would like to follow, then you should start changing your nutrition right away. You need guidance from the FD plan suited for your needs and goals. Even if you start working out immediately (which we also recommend) you can find enough information on basic weight training and cardio exercise to get you through till the next month when you can purchase your next eBook. If you only changed what you eat, you’d still notice positive changes in your health and energy levels. This is why you should work on proper food intake right away.
Step 3: Get some Weight Training Workouts that are Pauline approved! Pickup one of the collections of full-body workout routines: FD BadAss Workouts (volume 1 or 2)
Why start with these workouts? These will serve you well if you are a complete beginner OR if you are already a regular gym goer. Even if you are doing a workout rotation that concentrates on specific body parts, you could use pieces from these full body routines to accomplish that while you wait to purchase more workout books. It would also be good to shock your muscles with a full body routine to change things up. Trust me, you’ll find one in here that will challenge you, if you follow it as instructed!
Step 4: Time for honing in the Cardio. Now you need to buy Cardio 4 Leanness.
Cardio is an important part of any workout schedule because it helps you burn off that extra fat. Building muscle will accomplish this too. However, it is more effective for overall health and better burning power if you combine cardio with your weight training. You’ll see better results, and it’s extremely important for the health of your heart!
Why Cardio 4 Leanness? You want this next because it explains all the important factors related to cardio and pretty much answers all of your questions. It gives you the basis for building better cardio workouts for yourself. This discusses how monitoring your heart rate during cardio will help you and what “zone” you should stay within to be most effective. Even if you only use the treadmill right now, you’ll understand when to use it, at what rate to use it, and more advanced information such as doing cardio fasted or not.
