		<description>It&#039;s like in the book &#039;7 habits of highly effective people&#039; - as humans we have the ability to chose how we respond to the things that we experience and have affect us each day. 

We have the ability, the choice as to whether we allow something to affect us negatively or to internalise the issue and then decide to act positively - it&#039;s what separates us from the animals and more of us should realise this. I think it&#039;s quite safe to say that you don&#039;t need to read the book! :)

You have a great approach to life....and when you have that you have A LOT!  

I have a saying I like to think is true....&quot;Everything that happens is for my highest benefit.&quot;  I use it at least 100 times a day.....waiting in traffic or getting behind a slow driver for instance...you can get pissed and anxious OR you can realize that the traffic or the slow driver may be helping you in some way that you cannot yet see. Maybe getting to where you were going too early may have been somehow tragic or you would&#039;ve ended up just waiting wherever you got to anyways. 

I can&#039;t count the number of times in my life where i&#039;ve seen myself get anxious because things weren&#039;t happening as I planned only to have them work out for the better in the end. So now i try to catch myself when i get anxious and to allow the flow of the universe to take me as it will....my job is to surf.  And i&#039;m trying to learn to shred like Kelly Slater!!! or get shredded like Pauline!!
